Who has access?
Referee administration is an optional add-on to Planr Hub. Club admin activates it in admin during the trial or later. Without the module the menu is visible, but the content is locked. Data is not deleted if you turn it off.
Planr Basic and individual Planr Pro / Pro + AI without Hub do not give this administration tool.
Concepts you should know
Referees
The people you add on the Referees tab. Email and phone are needed for notifications. Each person gets a personal code.
Matches
The assignments you give out. You import them from the venue plan, or add them by hand.
Personal code
The code the person signs in with in the Planr app, like a team code. They then only see their own matches and can turn on notifications.
Link to all assignments
A public club page that shows every match. Share it with anyone who should see the full list.
Referee coordinator
The contact shown on the shared page, who is notified when someone replies.
Payout
Completed matches collected per month, with rates you set under Settings.
Adding people
Open the Referees tab. Add them one by one, or use paste if you have the list in Excel or as text. Email, phone and birth year are picked up automatically when they are in the text. The same name is updated instead of being added again.
A partner is used when you place people in pairs. Qualification controls which matches they can get. Notes are only visible to the club.
Matches
Import matches from the venue plan, or add them by hand. New matches from handball.no arrive when the venue plan is synced. If a match is moved or disappears there, it is marked as changed or gone here. Empty matches without an assignment are deleted automatically.
Matches from age 13, and 11/12 where handball.no already has names, are usually not assigned by the club.
Assign
Open a match and choose who officiates, or use Assign automatically on the matches in view. Automatic assignment follows the filters you have set (period, age, hall, status) and skips matches the club usually does not assign.
You can change people afterwards. If someone declines, the role opens again and you can assign someone else.
Sharing
Share Link to all assignments so they open the club page and see every match. Referees can also download the Planr app and sign in with a personal code. They then only see their own matches.
On their page they can Accept or Decline matches, and mark Match completed, depending on what you have turned on under Settings.
Confirmation and completed
On the Settings tab you control Require confirmation and Require they officiated.
- Require confirmation: they must Accept or Decline on their page. They can always Decline an upcoming match, even without that requirement. If they decline, the role is marked Declined and opens again. A reason is optional. The referee coordinator is notified in the app and by email.
- Require they officiated: they must confirm that they officiated. Only then does the match count in payout. You can also mark a no-show.
Notifications
When someone is assigned a match, they can get email and push. Email goes to the person, or to a parent if they have none of their own. Push requires that they have signed in with their code first. Turn this off or on under Settings.
Contact details for the shared page live there too, plus whether assigned people show email and phone.
Payout
Rates are set under Settings. You can override the rate on one match. Payout collects completed matches per month, and you mark when it has been paid. Declined and No-show are not counted.
Contact
Set one or more people as Referee coordinator under the club's administrators. They are shown as contact on the shared page, and are notified when someone replies.
