Player page and player code

Every player has their own page. There you see how that player has contributed, not only the team as a whole. The player can get their own code and see the same page themselves, together with the team calendar.

Open the player page

Tap the player's name. It works in the squad, on Trends and in the table under Statistics.

The page shows profile photo, score and the matches the player has been in. The selection follows season and tournament, the same way as the rest of Matches.

Key numbers

Four numbers sum up an outfield player. Each number is compared with the squad average, and with players in the same position when the squad has more than one in that position.

  • Positive: what builds the team, such as goals, assists, steals and defensive plus.
  • Negative: misses and technical errors. Lower is better.
  • Goal points: goals and assists together.
  • Shot conversion: the share of shots that become goals.

The arrow shows whether the player is ahead of or behind the comparison. Below the numbers, each match is a bar. Tap a bar to see that match.

The goalkeeper has save percentage instead of score, zones in the goal, and earlier analyses collected on the page.

The analysis takes position and age into account, and compares shots and saves with what is typical for that kind of shot in the age group. The player uses the numbers to find areas to develop and to follow their progress, not to be ranked.

Share with the player

From the squad you can give each player a code.

  • The checkbox next to Player code turns codes on or off for everyone. You get a warning before it happens. The info icon beside it explains what the player sees.
  • In one player's profile you turn the code on or off, copy it, create a new code, or send it by email.
  • The banner above the squad suggests who is missing a code, and whether you want to send email. You can hide the banner. It comes back when you turn all codes on.

With the code the player signs in to the Planr app, or opens the link. They then see the team calendar, the playbook if the team has an active playbook, and their own statistics. They do not see the other players' pages.

The email explains that the numbers show both what is going well and what the player can practise more, including the comparison with the team.

Young players

The player page also shows negative numbers and how the player compares with the team. For teams under 16, consider whether the players should see it. The warning appears when you create codes for such a team. The email to those players says they can talk to the coach if something is difficult.

Turning the code off removes the player's access with that code. The same code can be turned on again. New code replaces the code itself.
